Javelin™ • MIS Locking Facet System
The US Spine Javelin™ MIS Locking Facet System is the first and only facet screw system with a unique, locking interface between the screw and washer. Javelin offers unique design enhancements specifically to assist in locking the implant into the facet joint and preventing screw backout. The system can be used in both an open, percutaneous, or MIS procedure providing great flexibility for the surgeon.

Smaller implant than traditional fixation methods (pedicle screws) • Simple instrumentation system • A locking mechanism exists at the interface between the underside of the screw head and the bowl of the washer • Limits potential for screw "back out" • Ability to accommodate all patient facet join thickness • Washer has aggressive teeth/fangs which provides increased "bite" and holdfast to the joint or bone surface
